Details

The Ministry of Education, Government of India, created the National Scholarship for Post-Graduate Studies (NSPG) program. When the program was first introduced, its goal was to give financially deserving members of the lower socioeconomic strata of society access to postgraduate education in India.

Benefits

• Monthly scholarships of Rs. 15,000 for ten months in a year.

Eligibility

1. Candidate must be working toward their first postgraduate degree.
2. Applicants are not allowed to apply if they have previously earned a postgraduate degree.
3. The applicant needs to be registered in the postgraduate program’s first year.
4. The applicant needs to be younger than thirty.
5. The applicant needs to be enrolled in a program full-time.
6. The applicant needs to be enrolled in an accredited postgraduate program.

Registration for New Applicant

1. Navigate to the Applicant Corner of the official NSP website and select New Registration.
2. After reading the instructions and guidelines, check the box to indicate that you have read them, and then click “Continue.”
3. Launch the mobile OTP registration process.
4. Document required (Aadhaar and Bank Account Details)

National Scholarship For Post Graduate Studies

Registered Applicant

1. Navigate to the Applicant Corner of the official NSP website and select Fresh Application.
2. With your application ID and password, log in.
3. Choose the Scholarship option.
4. Complete the application.
5. Upload the necessary files.
6. Submit

Documents Required

1. certified copies of grades and certifications beginning in class IX.
2. a copy of the PG course’s official or provisional admission letter that has been attested.
3. Identity proof in the form of a driver’s license, passport, voter ID card, Adhaar card, or PAN card.
4. bank account information.
5. Two current passport-sized photos.
